How much does self ligating braces cost in india? Or assam. Suppose If metal braces needs extraction to correct overjet and overbite, will using self ligating braces correct overjet and overbite without extractions. Also does the final result differ between traditional braces and self ligating braces, like i have heard self ligating ones expands the jaw.

Self ligation braces start at approx 50k.. in some borderline cases you can prevent extraction of teeth by using them as they create some expansion of dental and bone structures. It's a good solution for borderline cases

Self ligating braces cost around 50,000_70,000.if there is severe crowding, you need extraction of teeth evenif you are using self ligating braces .there is no difference in final results.

All Damon braces are self ligating braces(SLB) but not vice versa.
It varies from patient to patient how clinically feasible it is to use damon for expansion of the teeth and avoid extractions. It is not always the case.
SLB are definitely more comfortable and refined for the patient that is why the higher cost as compared to the conventional metal braces.
In simple words, there are different ways of reaching from Point A to Point B but it depends on the orthodontist what he or she might choose.

The result is almost the same and the extraction depends on the treatment line, the orthodontist will tell you if it’s required or not. The cost varies, would be around 50-80 k.
