Sciatica, back pain
I have been suffering from back and leg pain for more than 1 year. I took an MRI and I have problems with l4 l5 and l5 s1. Also one finding is "reduced lumbar lordosis". Does this mean I have less curvature or more curvature in lower back. How much can physiotherapy help.

Hi, Back pain with out leg pain usually resolves with Physio - IFT. If you got leg pain you can try traction along with it. If it is not helpful then nerve root injection will be helpful. Once pain in controlled do back strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury. Lumbar lordosis loss means - less curve because of pain/ spasm
