Hai all this is my second pregnancy. My first child age is 4.5 years. Trying for VBAC. Today done scan 39 week my scar thickness is 3.1 mm in Ultrasound. 4.2 mm in transvaginal scan.
It's ok for Normal delivery? Baby in cephalic position. Pls any one tell me

Scan thickness of more than 2.5mm is fine.
Any how it also depends on other factors like size of the baby, cephalo pelvis disproportion .
If the vaginal examination is done and it seems adequate then you can opt for VBAC
No one is going to measure your scar thickness when you are actually in labour. It is the clinical assessment of the progress of labour and the time you take to deliver which will determine whether you have VBAC or not.
