Just for loose motions colonoscopy is not advisable. Many people have loose motions, why colonoscopy. If it's a long standing disorder, then may be yes.
Consult a gastroenterologist. He will guide you further.

For loose motions u don’t need regular colonoscopy. Once it’s ok. What do u want to do it regularly. Also u have not mentioned his symptoms. Is he only having loose motions? Any bleeding? Take home cooked, fresh light food. Drink boiled water. Take ORS.
Maintain active life style
Curd is good for u.
Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods
