I have suffered from severe anxiety and got over it with medication. Sometimes if a thought bothers me and I try to get past it, but it keeps coming back with a horrible tense feeling. How do I get rid of these ruminating thoughts?

Hello, Ruminating thoughts can be of various types. Management of these thoughts depends on the type. For eg: If it is obsessive rumination ,it has to be manages with medication and behavioural therapy, if it is generalised anxiety, you will need some relaxation training. Your thoughts need to be analysed in detail to find a solution for it.
