"I had a medical abortion on May 5th. A few weeks later, a TVS scan showed a small retained product of conception (RPOC), measuring 2.3 x 2 mm. My gynecologist advised me to wait until my next period and then get another scan done one week after the period to check if the RPOC has cleared. Now my period ended on July 13th. Should I book a regular TVS ultrasound or a TVS 3D scan for better clarity to rule out RPOC?"
