Can we skip follicular scan on 2nd day ?
Hi Doctor, We are planning to conceive and today is my 2nd day of menstrual cycle but the flow is very heavy. Doctor asked me to come for follicular scan on 2nd day of my cycle. I am not at all comfortable with this heavy flow. What should I do? Is there any chance of skipping this on 2nd day & if not can we get done this by abdominal ultrasound instead of TVS ultrasound?

Your doctor will give u medications for helping with your bleeding. Starting with 2 nd day is important, so as to monitor the growth of the eggs/ follicles and provide you medications for helping the growth accordingly. Also the TVS has a better sensitivity, so no to TAS.
