Root Canalor implantation
I have started my root canal 1 month ago but due to doctor's unavailability my other 2 settings didn't happen and now when i consult with other doctors , they said during first cleaning time a small sample of tool broked and remained in tooth root(Molar tooth) and from past 5 days i am on some antibiotics and i am not able to decide yet do i need a Root canal or Implantation after extraction?? swelling and infection is increasing and i am still not able to decide what treatment i required.

Hi go ahead with the root canal ..u always have the option of extraction...get ur root canal completed and if in future u have any problem u can get it extracted best of luck take care

Hi.. Ya,there is a separation seen in your x ray.Your attending dentist will ideally take an opinion of an endodontist(root canal specialist)to see whether it's possible to bypass or remove the file.It they decide the prognosis is poor,extraction with implant placement would be better.Good luck!

Hello looking at your x-ray yes instrument had separated in one of the canals..first let the endodontist try and bypass the instrument if that is done then u dnt need to go for extraction but if that is not possible then you have to get it extracted and go for implant..take care

Hello. Do not get the molar extracted, the broken instrument can be by passed and then the root canal treatment can be completed. The pain and the swelling will subside as the root canal gets complete. Consult a good Dentist. All the best!!
