Good morning sir
It depends on the position of the wisdom tooth and also on the root morphology of that tooth for root canal treatment and yes if you want to save that tooth and you don't want an extraction of that tooth then root canal is one of the option depending on the severity of caries and as I said above it is necessary to check with tooth morphology and then decide and if your dentist as advised for root canal treatment then they would have seen all this factor and trust your dentist as all of us are here to do best for our patients
Thank you 😊
Hello Sir, are you sure your wisdom tooth is affected? Generally if wisdom tooth is affected we suggest to go for extraction.. most of the time if its not of much of use for chewing as its the last tooth. But case to case things varry too... and about the cost of rct depends on the armamentorium used for your treatment. I would suggest you to go with xrays and examination and consultancy
