It is always recommended to wait after completion of root canal and than proceed with cap..say around 2 weeks

Fixing or putting of cap will depend on how much of your tooth structure is destroyed post Root canal treatment . If it’s recommended that you need cap then you can fix it in few days time post root canal treatment completion.
