RE-RCT is a specialist procedure that should be carried out by an endodontist (root canal specialist) and ideally with a microscope / under magnification. The success of re - rct depends on WHY the first rct failed. Decision to re-treat vs remove? Re treatment offers success rates of around 74% when carried out diligently. But re rct generally requires multiple visits. Depending on your age and inclination, one could consider replacement of those teeth with implants or other options.

1. Find an endodontist who is able to figure out the cause of failure 2. Discuss the chances of being able to correct the deficiency 3. Check other options such as bridges, Implants and cast partial dentures in terms of time and expense
