The treatment for painful teeth whether  to be extracted or rct to be done is based on x Ray's and clinical findings. For the time u can do warm saline rinses and brush twice daily...take soft diet. Keterol dt can be taken in case of  extreme toothache (if there is no medical conditions or any allergies)

Till you consult a dentist you can start with 1.T.Augmentin duo 625 thrice daily for 5 days 2.T.Combiflam thrice daily or whenever pain is there 3.Salt water gargle with regular temp water

Sometimes mouth ulcers are as painful as tooth ache. For the time being, do have these medicines prior to visit dentist, T. augmentin duo 625, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.metrogyl 400, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.ultracet/zerodol PT, maximum 3 tablets a day, if pain,after food T. Roles D,once a day, before food,for 4 days T.A to z gold, once a day, after food,10 tablets. If difficulty in opening mouth or chewing or swallowing, these are usually associated with  tooth infection. If feverish, that can be as a secondary  infection from tooth.

do not do hot compression /balm/ointment application extra-orally. avoid very hot/cold/hard/sweet/sticky food soft diet do not neglect brushing after meal. hold mouthful of Luke warm salt water in for sometime; you can do it for few times a day, if it's relieving your pain, even partially.

Without X-ray we cannot say whether a tooth can be saved or has to be removed. For severe pain u can take medications. Which town u are from?

Take mox 500 for 5days thrice a day 2) ketorol dt for 3days two times a day

1) do warm saline gargles 2) put clove or apply clove oil over that tooth.. u will get temporary relief 3) don’t eat hard and sticky food
