Root canal and diabetes
Hello My mother is a diabetic since last 12 years. She is on insulin since last 8 years. Currently she is taking 22 units twice a day. As her molar tooth has some infection dentist recommended root canal treatment. Her today's fasting sugar level is 175 and pp is 275. Please let me know if this is the safe level for root canal procedures.

Her blood sugar is too high . Problem with the treament will be that her tooth will not heal . First please get her sugar in control . Root canal is safe but due to increased sugar there us lesser immunity and she can get some secondary infection .
