Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep your nasal passages moist. Saline nasal irrigation: Using a saline solution can help clear mucus and relieve congestion. Humidifier: Using a humidifier can add moisture to the air, which can ease sinus discomfort. Steam inhalation: Inhaling steam can help relieve congestion and promote sinus drainage. Rest: Get adequate rest to help your body heal. Over-the-counter medications: Consider OTC decongestants or pain relievers, but use them as directed and consult first Avoid irritants: Stay away from smoke, strong odors, and allergens that can worsen your symptoms. Allergy management: If allergies contribute to your sinusitis, managing them through medications or lifestyle changes can be beneficial. Nasal corticosteroids: These may help reduce inflammation in the nasal passages, but consult first. Avoid excessive use of nasal sprays: Overusing nasal sprays can worsen symptoms; use them according to the instructions.
