I worked in an IT company and rhomboid pain(left side) started, it was bearable so I didnt give much attention to it, I sleep on my stomach and my posture is poor, right now (after 1.5yrs)my left arm feels a little numb and I am getting headaches only on the left side. On a level of 10 , I would rate my pain as 6,Is this serious? It comes only when I am in a poor posture for a long time. But I can notice my left hand's grip strength has reduced.

hi, poor posture is not because of our habits but it comes with our weak muscles, in my opinion if you will take some physiotherapy sessions of manual therapy & cupping follwed by some multi vitamin will definetly help you.

It's because of your poor office ergonomic and your abnormal posture..
To correct this you have to consult an occupational therapist a rehab team specialist to get your daily life better and quality..
Take plenty of Fluids and change your seat patterns or modify...
Take a breaks in between..
And must use or modify your seating position with multipurpose pillow and with basic regular exercises..

You need posture correction and strengthening exercises.
Tty to maintain proper posture to reduce pain and for maintaining strength.
The thing is your nerves are also getting involved in the tightness of the muscle due to which your nerves are getting compressed caused weakness in grip strength.The condition is not so serious but if you ignored it, it may cause you disabling pain and it will affect your work and psychology.
