Avoid hard and sticky food in regards to your braces. Avoid large bites in regards to your TMJ problem. Hot/ sticky foods should be fine.

Avoid hard food. As you have braces sticky food should also be avoided. You can have hot or cold drinks without any problem

Listen to your body. If you have leg pain you will try to give some rest to it. Same here. Eat soft diet till it improves and then slowly come to normal diet. If wearing the splint Is increasing pain, meet your dentist and get opinion again.
