Removing impacted wisdom teeth- TMJ
Hi.
I am suffering from TMJ disorder which is causing jaw popping and deviation. It has also caused slight ringing in ear.
I have attached a picture of my OPG Xray of my teeth. I have wisdom teeth on both sides.
Kindly suggest, will removal of the wisdom teeth reduce pressure on the jaw joint and prevent the TMJ disorder from becoming worse? Will I get relief after wisdom teeth removal?
What else needs to be done apart from wisdom teeth removal?

It is better to remove the wisdom teeth at the earliest. The wisdom teeth might be the reason for the TMJ issue you are having.

yes. both side of upper and lower wisdom tooth need to get removed . It will help to alleviate yr pain.
