Removal of screws and rod in leg bone
I met with an accident two years ago and got my leg fractured just above ankle nd got operated with two screws screwed and a wire like thing between them , now my leg has completely healed nd i have no problems as such in running or doing any activities. What i want to ask should i get the screws and that wire like thing removed though i dont have any problems because of it and if i get it removed how long will it take to heal nd would bed rest be required?

Bcoz of your young age it is better to get it removed ( my personnel opinion) since I have experienced difficulties in atleast 2 patients in England to carry out another procedure at same level bcoz you look like an athlete. Yes you need 6 weeks for this screw holes to be filled up with bone before you can slowly start your activities.
