Removal of rod from femur
Nine months ago titanium rod was placed on broken femur. And external fixator was on tibia.now external fixator removed on 27 nov 23.Since three months experiencing itching all over body and eczema type at the place where plastic surgery done at leg, which some what supressed by dermatologist. Dermatologist advised to remove the femur rod as skin patch test shows cobalt sulphate allergy. It's nine months can i remove the rod from femur. Recent X ray attached.

Wait for another 4-5 months get repeat x ray done done to confirm the union then go for nail removal.
