Walking femur fracture
It's been 8 months since my femur broke bone hasn't completely healed Im rod was inserted and I'm really worried about that will i be able to walk without a limp please please tell me I'm very scared there is no pain I'm using stick to walk and doctor said it'll take 2 more months will i be able to walk without limping????

Hi..... Most femoral shaft fractures take 4 to 6 months to completely heal. Some take even longer, especially if the fracture was open or broken into several pieces...... Because you will most likely lose muscle strength in the injured area, exercises during the healing process are important. Physical therapy will help to restore normal muscle strength, joint motion, and flexibility.....
