Normocytic means normal sized Red blood cells.
And Normochromic means normal red color of RBCs.
Normocytic, Normochromic anemia can be due to various secondary conditions like liver or kidney disease, or any hemorrhage, etc. Need further investigations to narrow down diagnosis.
But it is not due to iron deficiency, since iron deficiency causes microcytic, hypochromic anemia.
Vitamin B12 deficiency causes Macrocytic anemia
