I didnt use any thyroid tablets till now. I recently got tested for thyroid and my tsh is 8.1. do i have thyroid? How much mcg is required. Is thyroid permanent now ?

Normal T3 T4 and raised TSH level is known as subclinical hypothyroidism.If you have symptoms related to hypothyroidism, planning for the pregnancy and TSH level above 10 are indications for starting thyroxine. Periodical monitoring TSH and free T4 levels is necessary.
