Regarding tinea
Im a surgery resident. I had tinea cruris 3 months back. I had a course of tab itraconazole 200 mg od for 14 days...and topical teebinafine 1 percent bd flucos powder..antifungal soap and strct hygiene The leison reduced and i have been usinh terbinafine for the past 3 months but whenever i stop the cream aftee 2 to 3 days i see mild starting of reinfection at edges and again i start the cream and it settles . I am jsing the cream 2 cm aorund the leison also...how to stop the recurrence and stop the cream..i have beem on topical  terbinafine for more than 3 mnths

Fungus or yeast infection....common around skin folds like thighs and genitals.. avoid sweating, sharing clothes,towels and soap.. specific medicine required depends on the severity.. for detailed prescription do direct online consultation by sending photos.

Does anybody from your family is having tinea or any of your close friend as it can spread from them .

Wash all your clothes, bedding, scrubs, in hot water and sun dry. Don't mix them with others. Have a bath daily.
