In this, the infected nerve of the teeth is cleaned and sterilized so that no infection occurs. Then this empty area inside is filled with a material which is known as gutta-percha. There reason for placing this material is to seal the area so that it cannot be infected again ever in future. It helps to heal the bone and keeps teeth painless.
