Regarding pcv vaccine
My baby is 3 months old now, we have done synflorix ( pcv10) vaccine first dose @ 6 weeks in private hospital in banglore but now 10 weeks vaccine has done on govt hospital in my home town,but i have doubt now which vaccine is gave in govt hospital pcv 10 or 13 I asked many times but nurse didn't respond well what happens if first dose is synflorix i. E pcv 10 and now by mistake they gave 2nd dose I. E pcv 13 to my baby is anything harm happen and which vaccine can i go for 3rd dose I.e 14 weeks vaccine plz help me

It will probably be pcv 10 in government hospital And so the next dose you take at 14 weeks should be pcv10 again

Having given PCv 10 don’t worry. The third dose you can take pcv 13 There is also a booster dose at 18 months

In Govt hospital only PCV 10 is given if at all. Not available in all states though

Pcv vaccines available at Govt supply is same as in private hospital. So no need to worry go for 3rd dose synflorix.

There is no problem in switching between pcv 10 and pcv 13. There will be no harm to the baby. You can take pcv 13 if available. Otherwise pcv 10 will also be ok. Both are accepted worldwide
