✓Check BP during dizziness episode
If it's low/normal problem is not hypertension, but body regulation issue..
✓Fatty liver is a warning sign for metabolic disease ,your body is showing early imbalance.
✓consult with your primary treating doctor for reassessment
Migrabeta or propranolol is best used as a prophylaxis medicine for migraine and not hypertension
For hypertension in young first get usg doppler to rule out renal artery stenosis or renal calculi then genetic causes and family history is required kindly consult me in practo
Next Steps
best switch to antihypertensive like telma 20 /40 or telma beta after consult instead of non selective beta blocker like migrabeta
Health Tips
get basic blood tests done as well and review back
Migrabeta alone is not good enough for any grade of hypertension. It should be taken as a second line drug with some other primary drug.
Please consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination and regular monitoring.
Hello , Kindly consider having a Tele-Consultation with me on PRACTO App since adequate patient history is required for proper treatment and further follow up . Thank You
Migrabeta- TR is a beta blocker and so it slows heart rate and has some modest effect on BP. One of the side effects is dizziness. Need more info regarding medical history but the fatty liver and gastritis are not related. Kindly consult for further evaluation
Migrabeta tr 20 doesn't cause a raised BP.At your age age elevated BP readings of 150/100 is significant. You may monitor your BP continuously for a few days,if remains high , consult a cardiologist in your area for a clinical examination, investigation and appropriate treatment
Im assuming you started taking this medication for palpitations maybe induced by anxiety, You can usually continue your medication, but this needs reassessment.
Migrabeta TR 20 contains propranolol, which can actually help control blood pressure as well.
However, episodes of BP around 150/100 at your age are not normal and should be evaluated. Morning dizziness may be due to BP fluctuations, acidity, or sleep-related issues.
Fatty liver (grade 1) is usually reversible with lifestyle changes and is unlikely to directly cause these symptoms.
Next Steps
Regular BP monitoring (morning & evening for 5–7 days)
Check Hb, sugar, thyroid, and electrolytes
we can have a consult with the reports
Mirabegron known side effect is ↑ Blood Pressure.
It can precipitate or worsen hypertension.
If Recent onset hypertension- thenstrong suspicion of drug-induced hypertension due to Mirabegron.
Morning dizziness could be due to: BP fluctuations or possible autonomic effect of drug.
Not advisable to continue because:Hypertension is a known adverse effect.
Symptoms (dizziness) already present- Stop / switch Mirabegron (after consulting physician)
Monitor BP regularly (home BP charting)
