Dear patient, Possible reasons for your question: 1. Fatigue or Low Energy – Iron deficiency is a leading cause of tiredness and poor stamina. 2. Pale Skin or Shortness of Breath – These can be signs of anemia due to low iron. 3. Hair Loss or Brittle Nails – Often linked with iron deficiency. 4. Frequent Headaches or Dizziness – Especially when standing up or during exertion. 5. Poor Concentration or Brain Fog – Iron is essential for oxygen delivery to the brain. 6. General Health Checkup or Preventive Care – Especially common among professionals with sedentary lifestyles, like software engineers. 7. Diet-Related Concerns – Vegans, vegetarians, or people with poor diet may lack iron intake. 8. Chronic Conditions or Previous Diagnosis – Like low hemoglobin or gastrointestinal issues. Are you feeling tired or low on energy lately, or is this part of a routine checkup?
Next Steps
1. Serum Iron 2. Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC) 3. Transferrin Saturation (%) 4. Serum Ferritin 5. Complete Blood Count (CBC) – to assess anaemia

Who suggested you to check iron levels and for what reason..? Because there are tests like serum iron levels, serum ferritin, TIbC. Each has its own significance.
