Regarding elective LSCS
Hi...I am presently 22 weeks pregnant...i had delivered my first baby 1.5 years back which was LSCS as she had passed meconium..I am due on 2/2/19.. However my doctor has told us that she would be conducting my LSCS by 8.5 mts...and she has not mentioned any week as such...but 8.5 mts means probably 37 weeks...I would like to know will i be allowed to take my pregnancy uptil 39 weeks...and if no will my baby be healthy if he/ she is born by 37 weeks..

It is better to continue the pregnancy till 39 weeks . In last pregnancy at which time your baby passed meconium and what is your current pregnancy status these all will decide when to plan your next lscs

Congratulations dear. Yes it’s absolutely safe to deliver by 37 weeks. Your doctor will probably give you injection for maturation of Babies lungs before delivery. So don’t worry .

All depends on the status of pregnancy. If you are getting any problem continue till 39 weeks. In mean time any problem then get it done before.Because gap is less so I may get some problem.
