Echo never tells you heart blockage It only tells you 1. Pumping power of heart 2. Structural defect 3. Blood flow in and out of heart 4. Any previous attack causing wall damage or less movement of wall

Dear echo is for ejection fraction , main to access cardiac failure in old and valvular pathologies in all age groups. .for blockage we do angiography after ECG reports suggestive of possible MI. But sometime we also get non ST elevation MI there also we go for angio .

A blockage in cardiac vessels can not be directly known from echo. Angiography is the only method for that

Hello Sir, A normal resting echo usually shows that the heart’s pumping function and structure are fine, but it does not completely rule out artery blockages. Significant blockages (60–100%) are better detected by TMT, CT angiography, or angiogram, if your doctor suspects them.
