Dear Doctor, Greetings! I want to know that cancer is genetic.? Which blood test will be helpful to understand that someone is having cancer or not.

Not all cancers are genetic and not all cancers can be detected by some blood test. Cancers need to be screened in a systematic way , by an oncologist or a qualified doctor. What we can do is to make sure we have a good lifestyle and try to avoid the knob carcinogen for your lifestyle and habits . Consult with a doctor whenever you see any kind of symptoms that are considered earring signs of cancer But ,if your family have history of cancers ,specially cancers below 50 or 40 years , get back to us with that information , which a help us guide to further for the essential investigation you need to have . There is no single blood test to reveal cancer is present or not. One must check according to symptoms or specific blood test for specific organs. Genetic testing available now a days to see any genetic mutations that may lead to cancer later on.
