Red spot on the nose bridge for 3 weeks
3 weeks ago, one fine morning, I saw some bright red spot on my nose bridge. It was bright for a week and then slowly turned into a very little darken patch. I don’t exactly remember but it has increased a little I guess. It is flat and in light, it looks bumpy. What could it be looking at the picture attached? There was no trauma. No itching or pain or anything.

A sudden-onset red spot on the nose bridge that evolves into a slightly darkened, bumpy patch without pain or trauma could represent a benign vascular lesion (like a capillary hemangioma or angioma), early dermatofibroma, or rarely, actinic lichen planus or pigmented purpuric dermatosis. These can persist or gradually change in appearance.
Next Steps
To confirm the diagnosis and rule out any concerning dermatoses, an online consultation with a dermatologist is strongly recommended—especially since the lesion is evolving.
Health Tips
Avoid picking or applying unknown creams. Document any size/color changes weekly. Early evaluation ensures timely and appropriate management if needed.
