Red sandal powder
I usually suffer from body heat, indigestion and recurring UTIs. Can I consume red sandal powder? If yes, when and how much it should be taken?

No, red sandal powder will not be a wholesome solution for the issue you are facing. As a first measure, your digestion should be corrected. To correct the excessive body heat, pitta should be reduced and for that medicine/cleansing is required. Kindly consult me or any ayurvedic practitioner online/offline to get a detailed prescription and instructions on diet and lifestyle as well.

Looking at the weather I wouldn't prescribe anyone to take Red Sandal Powder unless it is going to help them especially in their case. And if it is case or not can be found out only after proper Consultation with an Ayurvedacharya. Underlying causes of Indigestion or frequent UTI might also need complete treatment apart from just Red Sandal Powder. Get Well Soon 💐 Namami Dhanvantari ! Hello, I guess correcting your gut will solve your problems. With diet modification you can improve your digestive power. Always keep medicines as 2nd priority. Yes, red sandalwood (Rakta Chandana) can be beneficial for body heat, indigestion, and recurring UTIs due to its cooling and anti-inflammatory properties. How to Take Red Sandalwood Powder: 1. For Body Heat and Indigestion: • Mix 1/2 tsp of Rakta Chandana powder with water or coconut water. Consume once daily on an empty stomach. 2. For Recurring UTIs: • Mix 1/2 tsp of Rakta Chandana powder with a cup of buttermilk or tender coconut water. Drink twice daily. Additional Tips: • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. • Avoid spicy, oily, and acidic foods to reduce body heat and UTI recurrence. • Incorporate cooling foods like cucumber, pomegranate, and tender coconut water into your diet. Consult an Ayurvedic doctor for personalized advice if symptoms persist.
