Red circular ring-shaped rashes on multiple body sites with intense night-time itching for 15 days are very suggestive of Tinea corporis (ringworm) â a superficial fungal skin infection. It is extremely common, especially in warm/humid weather, and spreads easily through skin contact or shared clothing/towels. The rings typically have a scaly, raised border with partial clearing in the centre. Apply an antifungal cream (Clotrimazole 1% or Terbinafine 1%) twice daily to affected areas for 2â4 weeks. Keep the skin dry and wear loose, breathable cotton clothing. Do not share towels or clothes. If not improving in 2 weeks or spreading rapidly, consult a dermatologist.
Next Steps
Start antifungal cream (Clotrimazole or Terbinafine) twice daily for minimum 4 weeks. Keep skin dry. Wash clothes and bedsheets separately in hot water. Avoid scratching. See a dermatologist if no improvement in 2 weeks. Consult me on Practo for further guidance.
