Recurrent, painful lumps under the right
Patient: Uday Bhanu Singh, 32M
Complaint: Recurrent, painful lumps under the right armpit for 3 years. The condition flares frequently and never fully clears.
History & Past Care:
Consulted a dermatologist at Max Healthcare in October 2022 (prescription attached). I was prescribed a 10-day course of topical Acnesol Gel, oral Sotret 20mg (Isotretinoin) twice daily, and Tab Dazit 5mg. The lumps improved temporarily but returned after stopping the medication, and I have left it untreated since.
Current Status:
Active, deeply inflamed, painful nodular lumps in the right armpit. There is currently no active drainage, fever, or rapidly spreading redness.
Goal:
Seeking a definitive, long-term treatment plan to stop these chronic recurrences. Current photos and the 2022 prescription are attached. Please advise if updated blood tests are required to safely restart systemic therapy.
