My mother (55) noticed a dry blood stain on her underwear. I am assuming its rectal bleeding. She has constipation and sometimes gets black stools. Not tarry black but blackish-brownish kind. She used to take iron pills for her low hemoglobin and blood count but now went off it because iron pills caused more constipation. What should we do now? I am very scared.
