Re: Re: Lava crowns
Recently I raised my concern (search by 'Lava crowns by KDAH') on Practo regarding the so called Lava Premium product I was handed over by Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. I got few replies here but no one considering this unfair. This is surprising. Let me again bring more clarity over my case. I paid the hospital Rs. 66k for 3M Lava premium ceramic crowns (4) but I was given cheaper product of a local brand along with a warranty card which is not at all of a 3M product. Though it was labeled as "Lava Premium" by dentist and lab partner. I contacted 3M and they have confirmed that this is not a 3M case. On practo I just want to know it is what usually happens with everyone who pay for a 3M branded crowns, before complaining directly to the doctor.

If you have confirmed it with the 3M lab and its not from there then you should visit the hospital again and ask them , why have they done this?????

Hi this is a serious issue if it's not a genuine LAVA crown 3M had milling centres that it outsources to. All LAVA cases have a specific ID Code. This unique number can track your lab and doctor. If you have the number 3M will confirm of its originality . If they cannot do so please take up the case with your dentist
Next Steps
confirm to check if the product is a genuine LAVA PRODUCT.
