Dear you,
If what you are describing is really having since 1 year. Then chemical changes has happened in your physiology.
Example: we sleep on same side of the bed for prolong time. The mattress shape changes. To balance it we have to start sleeping on other side for that same amount of time atleast.
Now the chemical changes are little better then mattress. You can alter them.
Your body will take its own healing time to produce the same chemical in healthy amount.
To support your body and physiology you will require external support in form of medicines atleast for certain period. (Minimum 1 year )
Lucky you are young.
Next Steps
1. You are 16 yrs old.(you should not visit doctor alone) talk to elder in family. have patience to explain them everything and be prepared to hear home remedies and jokes n rejections and feeling that noone understands you. do it again. and request them to take you to a psychiatrist. Dont give up.
2. imp. select a psychiatrist who just doesn't put you on meds forever. who advises therapy along. (you are 16 only remember this even if doc forgets)
3. take your meds with hope and be frds with yourself for. atleast 1 year. and don't expect others to understand your struggle till you are out of it.
Health Tips
1. I insist for psychiatrist
2. I insist for therapy along with medication
3. the pain will be worth it. Promise.
4. All the best.
