Hi After trying to understand your concerns, I will surely recommend you to meet a psychiatrist. But will also recommend you note down and maintain a thought record( diary) where you write about your thoughts. If it's negative or positive, the instances which raise them, the feelings associated with them. Also try and do relaxation exercises for 15 mins in the morning( for a better understanding consult a psychologist in person) and go for some exercise in the morning or evening.
Next Steps
Perform relaxation Consult a psychiatrist

What is the quality of thoughts? Are they distressing and negative?  Or are they just futile. Are they plans and ideas with increased optimism? Treatmnt and disgnosis depends on these questions.  Visit a psychiatrist and have an assessment dn For time being you can take a sleep inducing medicine like zolpidem .

Was there any issues or problems since then,  with which you developed  a different  sleeping pattern in the last one year. Is it resolved  or it is just silent for the time being. I think if there is anything like that,  better resolve it at the earliest and things all will eventually become normal.
