If I get rabies shot after 48 hours but before 72hours of a dog scratch.will the vaccine work?is it too late?

Dog scratch.....did you bleed....if no then you don't need vaccination. Otherwise not too late.

Within 24 hrs is advisable and prescribed but if u didn't take in 1st 24 hrs take it asap something is better than nothing

It will work. After all even if the dose of vaccine is delayed , it will work if the Viral load is low. You may discontinue vaccination if the dog survives for 10 days.
