Rabies injection
Hello all, Two days ago the cat put teeth on my finger . But there is no blood or scratch. Pure intact skin. I went to doctor he said there is no need of vaccine. But due to my anxiety he advised me to take one tetanus and 3 dose of rabivax . Is this ok . Or should I take 5 doses . Please tell Thanks

Since you have intact skin, it will be considered as category 2 bite for which the treatment will be Anti Rabies Vaccine ( 4 doses if it’s ID and 5 doses if it’s IM). Additionally take a single shot of TT also if TT has not been taken in recently
