The antibody titre is adequate but if the handled dog is rabid it's better to take additional dose... No harm in taking an additional course

Your Rabies IgG result is 3.72 IU/ mL, which is well above the protective threshold of 0.5 IU/mL. This means you likely still have good protection from the vaccine you received in 2016. Based on this, you likely do not need additional doses unless there was direct exposure (bites, deep scratches, etc.). However, if you're feeling anxious about any symptoms or the risk of saliva contact, we can monitor you closely over the next few weeks.
Next Steps
In case of any unusual symptoms, seek immediate attention. But right now, based on the antibody levels and the fact there was no bite or scratch, further vaccines are not likely required.
Health Tips
Stay hydrated with plenty of fluids Watch for any unusual symptoms

Based on the information you have provided, you completed a full course of the rabies vaccination in 2016. The fact that you handled a potentially rabid dog recently, even without a bite or scratch, raises valid concerns about potential exposure through saliva. In such cases, contact with a rabid animal’s saliva to skin (especially broken or compromised skin) could pose a risk of rabies transmission, although the risk is significantly lower without a direct bite. Given that you've had prior rabies vaccinations, your antibody levels are critical in determining if you need a booster dose. If your rabies IgG test indicates sufficient immunity (usually above 0.5 IU/mL), you may not need additional vaccination. However, if the levels are below the protective threshold, a booster may be recommended. I advise you to share your antibody test results with a healthcare professional for proper evaluation. For better clarity and personalized advice, you can consult me directly for further evaluation and treatment. Feel free to reach out on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one double three two.
