My cousin age 10 years got a nail scratch from a dog and she is taking Rabies Vaccine..The doctor has advised to take 5 doses... After receiving Second dose i.e Day 3 on Day4 she was playing and running in balcony and I was their so while running she came and catched me so their was a little scratch in my hand by her nails... So can she infect me with the virus?? She is in Vaccine course and taken Day3 dose so in between vaccine course if she scratches any human like she did to me then the human need vaccine for rabies??? I have also taken rabies vaccine earlier Last year Oct/Nov 2016 I have taken 5 doses of Rabies vaccine and also again in Feb 2017 I have taken 2 booster doses...

No you don't have to take vaccines .u are already taken 5 complete doses. If case further dog bite happens ever u have to get 2 doses .
