Rabies and die can't focus on studies
I completed my full anti-rabies vaccination (ARV) schedule at a government hospital, with the last dose on 07/12/2025. Later, I took booster doses on 06/03/2026 (Day 0) and 09/03/2026 (Day 3). Day before yesterday, while walking in a dimly lit park where bats were flying, I did not feel any definite bite or scratch at that time( I would have not noticed because my left hand was next to my friend's right hand ). However, later I noticed a small mark on my left hand, which looked like knife cut 1 cm skin cut . I peeled it yesterday, and now it appears like small puncture-like marks. I am not sure if I might have missed any injury at that time, so I would like a medical evaluation and advice. I will be able to visit the hospital on 02/04/2026 for further consultation. Please I am extremely scared I will die and I have 2 exams pending and can't focus on them also

I hear how scared you are, and I want to help you get through these next few days so you can focus on your exams.First,You are safe. Based on our previous talk. What you are feeling right now the fear, and the inability to focus is anxiety, not illness. Since you are visiting a doctor on 02/04/2026, let’s make a deal to help you pass those exams. When a scary thought comes up while studying, tell yourself I will save this thought for my doctors visit on April 2nd. Right now, I have to focus. If you feel panic stop drink a glass of cold water. Focus on your exams for now, and you can sit down and go over everything in detail on the 2nd.

If this is a bat bite, u have to take rabies vaccination. Consult nearby government hospital to take the vaccination. Post exposure vaccination should be started within 24 hrs ideally. So better visit a hospital at the earliest
