RA factor is not pathognominic of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it can be positive in many other conditions, so it is advisable to go for other tests also to rule out arthritis, secondly you fail to mention your symptoms, so its hard to advise you on anything.
I would like to inform you that if you have RA positive Rheumatiod arthritis, it can be kept managed with drugs, and thus prevent long term complications.
