My mother had tkr 3 weeks before. Now this is X-ray of 3 weeks after tkr which is having minute crack in bone as per doc and it will heal automatically as per him. Her leg is almost straight and also bending properly after physiotherapy. She is walking also very properly. But she is feeling slightest pain in knee area and swelling in ankle which is normal and will go gradually as per doc and physiotherapist and Google. Now doc asked not to do much exercise so that crack can heal. Will this crack heal automatically. Her doc and physiotherapist both are vary good and cooperative but I am worried abt crack. Will this heal automatically.

Yes the fracture will heal and then she can start walking when the pain also subsides.
Meanwhile do ask your doctor to give her vitamin d and b12 injections. This will speed up healing
First confirm whether the crack you see on xray...does it match with the area of pain occuring on the knee...if yes..should stop with aggressive physio...must heel with time...
If it does not match...i suppose you should not worry and continue your physio regime
Hello I suggest you follow the doctors advice and preferably not to put much weight on the operated leg. I would also recommend that you have a knee brace just as a support but kindly refer your treating doctor. But it is advisable to continue doing your physiotherapy exercises regularly
Next Steps
Yes the fracture heals but it should not get displaced then that would delay the healing process
