Query regarding thyroid disease
Respected dr. I m 36 week pregnant. I m suffering from thyroid a disease. And last 3 Month in October my report result as under:- Tsh - 1.13 and taking 100 MCG Thyronorom now I recently again diagnosed thyroid profile and results as :-january 19.01.2022 T3 :- 1.36 T4:-11.6 Tsh:- 8.28 I am very shocked due to high range of my tsh and doctor suggested to take Thyronorom 125 mcg for delivery. Kindly suggest me is there any issue with my baby growth. I m worried about for first pregnancy. Thanks

usually high TSH level affects baby growth in first trimester.... you can increase the dose but changes getting reflected on TSH levels will take a month by that time you will get delivered... so dont panic.... consult your Gynaecologist for follow up of thyroid disorder post pregnancy and dose related changes....
