Some Dr suggested me that Ivermectin Tab can be taken as precautionary tablet to avoid COVID infection. Is it so? What would be dosage? Whether it is safe for IBS patient.?

Hello, Currently there are no confirmed medications specific for treatment of Covid. The precautions needed are using a mask, regular hand washing and following social distancing. However if you have any history of exposure to suspected covid patient or have symptoms of Covid, please visit the nearest hospital for treatment

Hello dear. Ivermectin is not currently approved for treating COVID-19.
Next Steps
Wear masks and use hand sanitizer. Do not wear gloves as they, contrary to popular belief,  spread infection

Ask for the details to same doctor who suggested Ivermectin. He might be having your proper history.
