Query for NGS test after liver biopsy
Hi,
My father is suffering from Pancreatic cancer and now it is metastasis to liver & lungs. He underwent whipple surgery & chemotherapy and now it is metastasis. Chemotherapy completed on 6th Feb and after that PET Scan and NGS test is suggested by doctor. Can you please tell us that which one we should go- comprehensive or the other one in NGS test. He underwent Liver biopsy.

Based on NGS we can .start any targeted therapy if any mutations come positive there by targeting the mutation to prolong survival of the patient

One thing is to understand that its a non curable bcz of wide spread metastasis. Only You can prolong survival by few months or days depending on response to chemotherapy.
