After I visited a sex worker (had protected intercourse, with unprotected oral-fellatio and kissing), I started having symptoms of sore throat and white tongue coating. I did my own research and tested positive for EBV (past infection IgG positive at 2 months), EBNA IgG positive, CMV IgG positive (with very very high titres of 1786.924 AU/mL of IgG and IgM negative). Tested positive for Coxsackie IgM and negative IgG. Tested negative conclusively for all other STD's. My question is, do I have to check viral load of CMV for very high titres of IgG and where in India can I check the strain of Coxsackie whether it is A or B ? No lab comes up on Google for testing this. I've done enough research and managing symptoms is what allopathy can do. I am still interested in knowing the strain type. Can someone help ?
