Quardruple Marker Test
I am 14 week pregnant, i have done my NT Scan and dual marker test and both are normal during my 13th week. Now my doctor precribed me for 3d/4d scan during 16th week and Quardruple marker test. Is Quardruple marker test necessary ? even though my dual marker test is normal.

We offer sequential screening upto 20 weeks to rule out chromosomal anomalies such as trisomy 21,18 and 13. Dual marker and level 1 scan at 11-13 weeks. Followed by quadruple marker at 14-16 weeks. And then finally level 2 scan. If your pregnancy is high risk ( conceived after ivf,  elderly age group) then it is mandatory. Otherwise it is optional.
